James has worked for over 10 years with various MGAs in the US and partnered with capital providers to deliver the optimum risk portfolio required. As Group CFO of Tokio Marine Kiln, he was responsible for delivering their successful US growth strategy. This included three significant US investments in two MGAs (WNC First Insurance Services and NAS Insurance Services) and Journey Insurance company (part of UPC Holdings). James was also instrumental in bringing multiple ILS capacity to support the business, on both Lloyd’s and domestic E&S paper with allocated funds in excess of US$500m.
